Ground Sleeve Installation
Dig a hole. 18” deep by 18” diameter is the standard size.
For best results, use wooden stakes or rebar in your hole. Place the ground sleeve in the center of the hole. Place the wooden stakes or rebar securely around the ground sleeve. Make sure the ground sleeve is straight both vertically and horizontally. This is to ensure that, should the concrete shift or have an air bubble inside, the ground sleeve does not move. If it shifts a ¼” or 1/2” you will not notice it at the bottom. However, you will be able to tell at the top and it will not look good. J If you live in an area where it snows place about 3” of ground gravel at the bottom of the hole. This is so that when the snow melts it has somewhere to go without jeopardizing the integrity of the concrete. If you live in non-snow areas, skip the ground gravel. Pour in the concrete. Usually 1-2 bags of QuikCreet will suffice.
For telescoping poles:
To attach 2 flags, connect the first flag to the pivoting rings. To connect a second flag, connect the top of flag 2 to the bottom pivoting ring of flag one. They will share the same pivoting ring. Connect the bottom of flag 2 to the C-clamp included. This is for easy removal.
Easy Assembly
Flag free to rotate due to pivoting rings- prevents flag from wrapping around pole
